Walking into Townsquare Market for the third weekend Makers Market is a unique experience. While Townsquare is home to a variety of permanent crafters and vendors ranging from Knights of Hoopla creating a gaming space to brightly colored blankets and crafting classes, Sarah from Crafting for Sanity hoped that the Makers Market would offer something special.
"What I found was that some vendors could not support permanent spots so I started the Makers Market to give those vendors an opportunity to come and show their stuff and sell their stuff on a monthly basis while also giving Great Falls a consistent indoor market."

Started in April of this year, the event has hosted authors, jewelry makers, wood workers, and so many more. One regular, Dave of Zumwald had this to say, "I really enjoy the shows on the 3rd weekend. Meeting people, seeing other vendors and visiting with friends."
The market isn't only about the craft show however, "I always try to incorporate something fun for the community during those third weekend events. We have had scavenger hunts, poker runs, donated proceeds to a local school, and look for ways to make this fun for the community and keep it interesting and different," explained Sarah.
